Attendees were hungry for global conversation during South by Southwest Interactive, where Intuit’s Lindsey Grossman was one of four panelists who discussed startups’ need to think globally from the get-go. Other panelists included Bryan Breckenridge of Box, Kavita Shukla of Fenugreen and Jake Colvin of the Global Innovation Forum. Grossman talked about achieving global growth by leveraging innovative technology solutions as well as the support and tools provided by governments around the world. “Historically, the festival was very U.S.-centric but this year there were lots of panels focused on different startup ecosystems in countries like Brazil, France and Ireland,” Grossman said. “It was interesting to see government officials come in waves to promote their respective countries as ideal startup hubs and places to innovate.”
